Some activities during EGM Wrocław
The EGM Expo is an opportunity for organisations of ESN to promote mobility programmes and opportunities existing at the Higher Education Institutions in their countries. The Expo also offers space for young people to learn more about mobility programmes in Europe and find their next mobility destination. It also offers the perfect space for companies that provide services to international students to increase their awareness in the community.
The Flag Parade is one of the highlights of the Erasmus Generation Meeting Wrocław 2027, symbolising the unity and diversity of the Erasmus Generation. The participants proudly carry flags representing their countries.
Join us for the grand Welcome Ceremony of the Erasmus Generation Meeting Wrocław 2027! We will start this inspiring event with great keynote speakers and cultural performances. This opening night will set the mood for the whole conference, connecting the important topics of the Erasmus Generation with celebrating unity in diversity.
The Erasmus Destination of the Year
The Erasmus Destination of the Year initiative seeks to identify great practices in supporting student mobility at the city level. Five finalists are selected to bring their pitch to EGM and convince the audience that their city deserves the title of the Erasmus Destination of the Year. The winning city is announced at the closing ceremony of EGM, so better stay tuned!
Our theme
The whole programme of EGM Wrocław 2027 revolves around the main theme and two pillars:
Fair and Quality Learning Mobility: focuses on bridging the gap between established student rights and students' real-life mobility experiences abroad. It underscores the necessity of ensuring full and automatic recognition of learning outcomes, guaranteeing that academic achievements are seamlessly and fairly validated across institutions. By removing bureaucratic barriers, this pillar safeguards the academic value of the mobility experience and ensures that every student enjoys a high-quality international study period.
Student Participation and Well-being: centres on empowering international students and enhancing their overall quality of life during their mobility journey. It emphasises the importance of strengthening student participation in decision-making processes, ensuring the student voice directly shapes the future of higher education. At the same time, it addresses the essential need for improving living conditions and support systems, fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where students can thrive both personally and academically.
