The Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM) is the biggest conference where the Erasmus Generation meets to learn and discuss the future of mobility in Europe and beyond.
The central theme of the EGM 2023 will be
International skills for more engaged societies. The second edition of the biggest meeting of Erasmus+ and mobility alumni will have two main pillars,
skills gained through international opportunities, and civic engagement of young people, extremely timely topics due to the ongoing
European Year of Skills and the
elections to the European Parliament which will take place in 2024.
2023 edition
The second edition of the Erasmus Generation Meeting took place in Bucharest, Romania, between the 6th to the 9th of April 2023, and counted on the participation of more than 1000 Erasmus+ alumni and internationally-minded young people, as well as important stakeholders in the field of international mobility and higher education. This edition's theme of "International skills for more engaged societies" was covered in over 100 sessions in the 3 days of the event.

EGM Expo
The perfect opportunity for institutions, organisations and companies to interact with the Erasmus Generation! The Expo will offer a space for young people to learn more about study or traineeship opportunities and discuss topics like the impact of student mobility and internationalisation on the labour market, as well as the recognition of non-formal and informal learning profesionally.
For National Agencies, Higher Education Institutions and student organisations, it is the moment to promote different mobility opportunities and offer the space for young people to learn more about them, through the participation of their student delegates or staff representatives.
For companies, the Expo will have activities like interview simulations, pitch-yourself activities, one-on-one interviews between employers and potential employees, and a space for you to introduce the company to over 1000 internationally-minded young people.
2022 edition
The first edition took place in Porto, Portugal, between the 7th and 11th of April 2022, and gathered more than 800 Erasmus+ alumni and internationally-minded young people. The theme for this 2022's edition was the future of mobility - Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027.
This event is funded with support from the European Commission under the Erasmus Generation in Action initiative. The project aims to raise awareness about EU citizenship opportunities and foster active citizenship among European youth. Find out more about the project.
